Coastal Ecovia

An extensive dune cord that winds its way through paths, hiding places and habitats that lift the spirits of those who walk and cycle along them.
The Coastal Ecovia stretches over 12 kilometres of pedestrian and cycle paths for sports but also for relaxing on the municipality’s magnificent beaches. From north to south, the ecovia provides access to the following beaches: Marbelo, Seca, Azul, Pop, Costa Verde, Baia, Sereias, 37, Mar, Pescadores, Pau da Manobra, Paramos and Esmoriz.
The dune cordon that joins Silvalde to the Paramos/Barrinha de Esmoriz lagoon is a favourite spot for its visitors due to the vast fauna and flora that live there and attracts the attention of those passing by or quietly watching the sunset. This area is included in the Natura 2000 Network Sector Plan.
Travel along this coastline and contemplate the most unexpected scenes of nature on one side and urban on the other side, that will take your mind off your stressful routine.
