Póvoa de Varzim
With a rhythmic pace, walk along a rugged coastline that imprints in your soul and memory the intense complicity between land and sea.
The route starts in the far south of the municipality, at the Church of Lapa, and stretches to the dunes of the parish of Estela, allowing you to enjoy 12 kilometers full of stunning landscapes and corners for socializing and rest.
At first, there are urban promenades next to the beaches, and then there are wooden walkways over the sand, with the footpath intersecting with cycle paths in some places along the route.
The smell of the sea is unmistakable and attracts all kinds of walkers, including pilgrims who want to get away from the “traditional route” to witness new horizons and meet their peers.
